Promote gender equality, gender, leadership and women’s entrepreneurship around the world. This is one of the missions of the organization Femmes de demain (FDD). Under the effective presence of Yolande Lida-Koné, the first personality of this network in Africa, the 71-year-old organization has expanded to Benin. The official ceremony of consecration took place this Saturday at the Craft Promotion Centre in Cotonou.

During the ceremony, Francine Toupé Enialoko is elected president of Fdd-Benin at the head of an office of fifteen members. The women of tomorrow Benin, there are 23 in total and they come from different backgrounds. Barely installed and their visions for 2018 is clear: the validation of the work plan, the finalisation of the annexes of the Fdd-Benin in other localities of the country, to name but a few.

Given the magnitude of their ambitions, event sponsor Claude Aubin Gbossa invited the Fdd to unity and dynamism. As a guest of honour, MP Eric Houndété provided some advice for the organization’s political life.
